What is Classification module?

The Classification Module in Supplier Data Manager helps you automatically assign products to categories and families based on your predefined structure. It uses AI to analyze product data and classify items accordingly, reducing manual effort.

How does it work?

After mapping your supplier's data fields to your internal structure (cf. Mapping module), the Classification Module uses AI to evaluate each product and assign it to the most appropriate category or family. Most products will be classified automatically, though some may need manual validation.

For example, the AI might classify 47 out of 50 products automatically, while the remaining 3 will require your confirmation.

At the top of the page, you will find:

1. In red: Lines for which the AI requires validation/correction by a user
2. In green: Lines manually edited by a user
3. In blue: Lines automatically validated by the AI with a high level of confidence
4. In grey: All the lines in the catalog

How to classify your products? 

To classify products:

1. Select the row(s) that need validation.
2. Review the suggested category. If incorrect, use the search function to find a more accurate one.
3. Confirm the correct category.
4. Once all red lines are sorted, click "Submit" to proceed.
