Product Grid
In the Product Grid, two new types of data are now visible.
- Rating: Average rate of all reviews for products coming from your customer engagement platform.
- Number of reviews: Total amount of individual reviews coming from your customer engagement platform.
You can start prioritizing the products to take actions on.
Add new data in columns
Per default, these new data points are not visible in the Product Grid. You need to add them as new columns to start visualizing them.
For that, you can click on the Columns button and look for rating & reviews data. They are in the Attribute Group “System”.

Drag and drop the Rating & Number of reviews items from the middle to the right column on the screen.

You can now see the two new columns displayed in the Product Grid.

Please note, it is not possible to export this new data from the PIM (through the quick export functionality for instance).
Leverage the full power of the Product Grid
See below some ideas of what you can do with these new insights already visible in the Product Grid.
Filtering
Filter the product selection to find out the lowest rated products according to your business criteria and start taking actions. Here is an example:
- For the Number of reviews filter, select the products who have minimum of 20 reviews
- For the Rating filter, select the products who have a score below 3 (out of 5).

View
Create a dedicated view to identify easily the low rated products on a regular basis and share it with others.

For more details about the Views management in the PIM, please check this section.
Workflows
From the Product grid, assign selected products to an existing workflow for further analysis and troubleshooting. That will ease the team collaboration on product optimization.
To add a list of identified products to a workflow, you can use the Bulk action Add to workflow option available in the Product Grid or any saved View. To do so, make sure you have the required permissions to Manage Workflows Settings.
This will add this specific set of products to the selected workflow (with Product Selection criteria unchanged), enabling assigned contributors to work on both sets within the same workflow tasks. Otherwise, to create a workflow that only includes manually added products, configure the workflow's Product Selection criteria to accommodate this (e.g., "Status = Enabled" & "Status is Disabled") and ensure no products are automatically selected.
Check this article to know more about the Workflows capabilities.
One product can only be assigned once to a completed workflow.
To get more details about a Product, select it and go to the Product Edit Form.
Product Edit Form
In the Product Edit Form, a new section called PX Insights is now accessible to get more information about your product performance.

In the Rating & Reviews tab you will see 2 types of information:
- Overview with the overall performance of the product
- Product sentiment themes & reviews leveraging AI capabilities
Overview
In this section, there will be the following data (also visible in the Product Grid):
- Total number of reviews: It's an aggregation of the number of reviews coming from the connected platform.
- Average rating (out of 5): It's the average of all reviews for this product coming from the connected platform.

Product sentiment themes & reviews
Sentiment themes
Thanks to AI, the most common themes have been extracted from the consumers reviews to help you understand how your product is perceived.
These sentiments themes have been divided in 2 categories, the negative and the positive ones.
For each of the theme, you can see the number of reviews including this topic (number between brackets). The themes are by default sorted by the most important ones.
Some reviews are considered as neutral as the AI cannot extract themes. As a consequence, they will not be counted and shown in the raw reviews section.
AI synthesis
You can then select a specific sentiment theme to get a summary of all the reviews including this topic.
Original reviews
For each sentiment theme selected, you can access the original reviews associated.

For the sentiment analysis, we take a minimum of 10 reviews and a maximum of 200 reviews per product (from the past two years).
Original reviews are collected in any language, but they are not translated. Sentiment analysis is only performed in english but takes into account all types of languages.
If no filter is selected, all the original reviews will be displayed.
Good to know
- Product models : the visibility of data—received from the third party—is determined by whether that data applies to the variant level or the model level. Currently, data is only visible at one of these levels at a time.
- Locale & channel : The data is locale & channel agnostic.
- Data freshness: The data is refreshed every week.
- Rating score: The Rating score is based on the reviews from the past 2 years.
-
No data: there may be several reasons to explain why there is no ratings & reviews data for your product. Here is the list of the most common ones:
- Lack of data for this product at the moment (no review or not enough to generate insights as we require 10 as a minimum to perform the AI analysis): Come back later.
- Data visible elsewhere: Check Variant or Model level.
- Synchronization delay or error: Try refreshing the page.
- Technical issue: Contact support for assistance.
- The data present in Yotpo might not be compatible with the feature as there need to be a common ID to perform the mapping. Contact support for further investigation.
Within the Product Edit Form, short-links have been developed to enable rapid access to key functions.
