Publishing settings
This section provides information on managing product publication across sales channels and B2B catalogs.
What is product publication?
Product publication enables you to assign sales channels and B2B catalogs to all your products.
Please note that this feature does not support unpublishing products.
To unpublish products, you will need to do so directly in Shopify.
Prerequisites
Before using the Product publishing feature, make sure to fulfill the following prerequisites:
- Creation of sales channels: You must have at least 1 sales channel in Shopify (e.g. Online store, POS) to set sales channels. Refer to Shopify's dedicated documentation on sales channels management here.
- Creation of B2B catalogs: You must have at least 1 B2B catalog in Shopify to set B2B catalogs. Refer to Shopify's dedicated documentation on sales channels management here.
Configure sales channels & catalogs
Sales channels
Follow these steps to configure sales channels to assign to your products:
- In your Akeneo App for Shopify, navigate to the Configuration page.
- In the Publishing settings section, click on Sales channels.
- Select the sales channels where you want to publish your products.
- Save your selection.
B2B catalogs
Follow these steps to configure B2B catalogs to assign to your products:
- In your Akeneo App for Shopify, navigate to the Configuration page.
- In the Publishing settings section, click on B2B catalogs.
- Select the B2B catalogs where you want to publish your products.
- Save your selection.
Please note that all products will be published on the selected channels and catalogs.
You cannot set them individually for each product.
