What is a workflow in Supplier Data Manager?
In Supplier Data Manager (SDM), a workflow is a pre-configured set of steps that your organization and suppliers use to import, clean, and transform product data. Workflows are the primary containers for organizing jobs and supplier access in SDM.
The term "workflow" in Supplier Data Manager is unrelated to the Akeneo PIM Collaboration Workflow feature.
Overview of your workflows
From your Supplier Data Manager homepage, use the left menu bar to access and manage your workflows. The workflows page shows:
- Workflow Overview: The page title displays the total number of workflows currently underway in your organization.
-
Workflow tiles: Each workflow is represented by a tile showing key information at a glance:
- Pending Jobs: Number of pending jobs.
- Errors: Number of jobs in error. Hidden if there are none.
- Last Edited Date: When the workflow was last modified.
To view a workflow in detail, click on its tile.

Navigating and editing a workflow
In Supplier Data Manager, clicking a workflow tile opens the workflow detail page. Use the sub-navigation on the left to manage the workflow.
By default, the job list is pre-filtered to show only your entries. Uncheck your name to view all jobs in the workflow.
