Introducing the AI Assistant for Supplier Data Manager (Beta)
We're excited to introduce a new way to get help and answers to your questions about Supplier Data Manager with our new AI Assistant.
This new feature is currently in beta, and we encourage you to use it to help us improve your experience.
The AI Assistant is designed to provide you with instant support by drawing information from our resources, including the Help Center and API documentation. It can help you with a wide range of questions, from basic usage to configuration issues.

Where to Find the AI Assistant?
You can access the AI Assistant directly within the Supplier Data Manager application. Look for the AI Assistant icon in the navigation bar to ask questions and get help without leaving your workflow.
How to Use the AI Assistant?
Interacting with the AI Assistant is as simple as asking a question in a chat.
- Click on the AI Assistant icon in the navigation bar.
- A chat window will open.
- Type your question and press Enter.
What Can I Ask the AI Assistant?
You can ask a variety of questions, from simple to complex. Here are a few examples to get you started:
General Usage Questions:
- "What is the difference between a workflow and a job in SDM?”
"Which types of files can I import?" - "How can I create a supplier portal?"
- "Is it possible to sign in with SSO?"
- "How do I manually synchronize my PIM structure with SDM?”
Troubleshooting:
- "How do I correct errors detected during the normalization step?"
- “Can I ignore warnings, or do all errors need to be resolved to continue?”
A Note on the Beta Phase
As this is a beta feature, the AI Assistant is still learning and improving. The more you interact with it, the better it will become at providing accurate and helpful responses. We appreciate your feedback during this period. If the assistant is unable to answer your question or provides an incorrect answer, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
