Welcome to the Akeneo App for Salesforce!

We're excited to help you transfer product information, categories, and assets from Akeneo to Salesforce. Our connector is designed to make your data transfers seamless and efficient. Think of us as your personal data movers, but without the heavy lifting!

Here's how to get started:

Navigate to the Main Menu

Click on the chevron down in the Salesforce App Navigation. This is where you'll find all the features you need to work with the connector. It's like opening a treasure chest filled with data transfer tools!

The Homepage is your one-stop-shop for all things on Akeneo Connector for Salesforce! Here, you'll find quick links to access different parts of the application, an overview of the latest transfer logs, all scheduled transfers, an overview of the connector configuration, and a step-by-step guide to set up the connector. It's a hub of information and resources to help you manage your data transfers with ease.

Managing your Catalogs

If you need to manage your catalogs, head to the Akeneo Catalogs section. This is where you can create and configure catalogs, and set up scheduled transfers to save time. You can also map fields from Akeneo to Salesforce for each catalog, and configure the transfer of products in the middle of the night to save valuable time. It's a powerful tool to help you manage your product data and streamline your data transfers.

View Product Categories

To manage your product categories, head to the Akeneo Product Catalogs section. Here, you'll find all the categories of your products as configured in Akeneo. You can use this section to manage the creation and configuration of product categories, and ensure that your products are organized in a way that makes sense for your business. It's a simple and intuitive way to manage your product data.

View Product Assets

To see all the Product Assets transferred from Akeneo, head over to the Akeneo Product Assets. You are going to find on overview of all transferred Assets including the Product they belong to, the Asset Type and and the publicly available link.

View Product Translations

To see all the Product Translated attributes transferred from Akeneo, head over to the Akeneo Product Translations. You are going to find on overview of all transferred translated attributes including the Product they belong to, the Language and the translated value. You can also see this data at a product level using the Akeneo Product Detail Component. 

View Variant Axes Details

To explore  details about the Product Variant Axes transferred from Akeneo, navigate to the Akeneo Variant Axes Details. There, you'll discover an overview encompassing all transferred axes and attributes. This includes information about the associated product, the axis attribute label and value, along with the localized versions based on your connector's configured locales.

Schedule Automated Transfers

If you need to automate your transfers, head to the Akeneo Scheduled Transfers section. Use Akeneo Scheduled transfers per catalog to configure your recurring transfer operations. This section allows you to automate the transfer of product information, categories, or assets, so you can save time and focus on other important tasks. It's like having a personal time-saver for your data transfers!

Check the Status of your Transfers

To check on the status of your transfers, head to the Akeneo Transfer Logs section. Here, you can check per transfer if everything went well or not, and correct any errors to ensure a successful transfer. Transfer logs enable efficient error handling, so you can quickly correct any issues and ensure that your data is transferred successfully. It's a feature that gives you peace of mind knowing that your data transfers are running smoothly. It's like having a personal detective to investigate any data transfer mysteries!
