• Hands-Off Updates: Akeneo automatically evaluates and updates asset statuses daily based on your predefined dates.
• Compliance and Licensing Protection: Prevent copyright risks by ensuring assets are automatically unlinked from products the day a usage right or model license expires. 
• Simplify Campaign Launches: Stage embargoed or seasonal assets in advance so they can go live on launch day without last minute manual intervention.
• At-a-Glance Visibility: Keep teams aligned with asset statuses and activation periods that are clearly visible directly within the asset grid, making public availability easy to audit.

How does it work?

• Set status and dates: Navigate to the new Availability tab on any asset page to set its status (Enabled or Disabled) and select optional “Enabled from” and “Enabled until” dates. 
• Automated scheduling: Statuses recalculate immediately after date edits and update automatically every day at 00:00 UTC.
• Bulk management: Manage availability dates individually or using bulk edits, imports, and exports. 
• Downstream control: Disabled assets remain linked to product internally, but you can filter product exports to ensure only enabled assets are distributed to downstream channels.

Translate labels into different interface languages and manage them individually or in bulk through CSV/XLSX imports. Available in PIM and DAM.

🗣️ Choose your preferred language for catalog labels — Display catalog structure labels (attributes, categories, families, and more) in your preferred language, independently of the locale you're using to view or enrich product information. Your preferred language stays consistent as you switch between markets, making multilingual navigation much easier.

🧹 Decide how empty values are handled — Choose whether empty cells in your CSV or XLSX product imports should clear existing attribute values or leave them unchanged, giving you more control over data updates.

⚙️ Handle invalid data your way — Classic Imports now let you choose whether to skip an entire row containing invalid data or only the invalid value, bringing the same flexibility already available in Tailored Imports.

🔍 Spot and fix import errors faster — Troubleshooting is now easier with:

• XLSX: Invalid cells highlighted in red, with helpful explanations on hover.
• CSV: A dedicated "Import errors" column explaining what went wrong, automatically ignored when re-importing the corrected file.

🛡️ Import imperfect files more reliably — Extra unformatted rows without headers no longer cause imports to fail, reducing unnecessary file preparation and troubleshooting.

✏️ Update product categories directly from the Product Grid — Assign or modify product categories using the inline category picker in Edit Mode, without opening each product individually.

📤 Export only the categories you need — Filter CSV and XLSX category exports by specific category trees or subcategories, avoiding unnecessary data and making exports easier to manage.
